BAHASA FIGURATIF SEBAGAI REPRESENTASI LOKALITAS DALAM TRILOGI NOVEL GLONGGONG KARYA JUNAEDI SETIYONO (Figurative Language as a representation of Locality in the Glonggong Novel Trilogy by Junaedi Setiyono)
Abstract
The study aims to describe and locate the figures of speech and imagery associated with the regional locality. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data in this study were words, phrases, sentences, or utterances that contain the figure of speech and imagery and their functions as localities. The data sources were taken from the glonggong novel trilogy consisting of Glonggong, Arumdalu, and Dasamuka by Junaedi Setiyono. The data collection technique used the listening and note-taking technique. The data analysis method in this study used the matching method with the basic models using the Determinant Element Sorting or Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP) technique. The results found a figure of speech and imagery that locality (i) custom, (ii) tradition, (iii) regional language expressions, (iv) and culture.
Abstrak
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menemukan majas dan citraan yang dilekati oleh lokalitas kedaerahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata, frasa, kalimat, atau tuturan-tuturan yang mengandung majas dan citraan serta fungsinya sebagai lokalitas. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari trilogi novel Glonggong yang terdiri atas Glonggong, Arumdalu, dan Dasamuka karya Junaedi Setiyono. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Metode analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan dengan teknik dasar menggunakan teknik Pilah Unsur Penentu (PUP). Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan majas dan citraan yang merepresentasikan lokalitas (i) kebiasaan, (ii) tradisi, (iii) ungkapan berbahasa daerah, (iv) dan kebudayaan.
