MORALITAS DALAM DONGENG KISAH I KUKANG (Morality in “Kisah I Kukang” Fairy Tale)

Abstract

The writing intends to discuss morality in literary work. Theory applied is sociology of literature. To determining good or bad morality, unwritten concept that widely known in the society is used. The writer implies the theory on fairy tale entitling Kisah I Kukang. The morality is focused on the literary itself like theme, thought, philosophy, and the author message described in character behavior and characterization in accordance with plot and setting. Of content analysis and reading carefully used, it could be concluded that fairy tale plays an important role as communication media in conveying morality to his readers. Morality aspect in Kisah I Kukang expressed in the writing is hard working, economize life, keeping relationship and solidarity, well consideration, and concerning the advice
